Johns Creek, GA - One of the Least Stressful Cities to Buy a Home

Buying a home is a huge commitment whether you are a first-time homebuyer or a seasoned veteran. Moving to a new home is ranked by many as being more stressful than other big life changes such as getting divorced, having a baby, losing a job, starting a new job and getting married. While it is exciting to start a new life chapter, planning and implementing a move is a major headache. Add the financial commitment of buying a house to the mix, and it all becomes much more complicated.
Buying a house comes with expected challenges as well as unexpected challenges such as financial issues, the state of the economy, the fluctuating real estate market, the rollercoaster of emotions from dealing with change, and problems with the home itself that may pop up on the inspection. While it is normal to feel stressed during this time, there are some cities where buying a home and moving are less stressful than others.
According to a new study by House Fresh, Johns Creek is one of the least stressful U.S. cities to buy a house in, ranking number 4 out of the top 10. Using an academic tool called TensiStrength, House Fresh assessed the stress levels of property-themed tweets from every U.S. city. Approximately 5.6% of tweets from homebuyers stated Johns Creek, Georgia was one of the least stressful cities in which to buy a home.
The LEAST stressful city to purchase a home in is Chantilly, VA. It takes the number 1 spot with a home-buying stress factor of only 2.3%.

WHAT IS THE MOST STRESSFUL U.S. CITY TO BUY A HOUSE?
The study also ranked the most stressful U.S. cities for homebuyers and at number 1 is Bangor, Maine with a whopping 70% of related homebuyer tweets being rated as stressful.
You’re probably wondering what the MOST stressful city is in Georgia, and that would be the city of Macon, according to 45.5% of tweets from homebuyers.
