Team Leader
A licensed agent since 2005, Sherry is competitive and driven, with a soft spot for helping people. An entrepreneur by nature, she started her team 20 years ago, serving the north Atlanta suburbs. It has grown to include 4 full-time agents and 3 full-time staff. Never one to rest on past accomplishments, she is constantly searching for the best marketing tools and technology to better serve all of the team’s buyers and sellers.

When she’s not selling homes, Sherry serves on the Forsyth County Drug Awareness Council. She has dedicated a good portion of her personal time and resources to educate parents and teens on the dangers of addiction. Additionally, the team has a philanthropic mission, First Fruits, and awards grants to local charities quarterly.

Sherry is originally from the Midwest. She opened her first company in Michigan in 1995 and was named the Small Business Administration’s Entrepreneur of the Year. She spent 10 years in advertising, brand management and product development at Fortune 500 companies. She has a degree in marketing and sociology with a minor in economics.

Joy Bowman
Lead Buyer's Agent
Over a career in North Atlanta spanning more than 2 decades, Joy has worked with everyone from first-time homebuyers to million-dollar-plus buyers. In that time, she’s seen just about everything you can imagine. (Ask her about the snake . . .) At this point, nothing ruffles her feathers. Clients appreciate her unflappable nature, especially when deals get dicey. It keeps them coming back to her again and again. And, they trust her enough to refer her to their friends, family, and coworkers, the absolute gold standard for any agent.

Joy is originally from Wilson, North Carolina and a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill. She moved to the Atlanta area in the early 90s. Joy started out as a 7th and 8th grade math teacher. However, as a single mother of two young children, she wanted a profession with more flexibility. A realtor friend gave her a shot and it was love at first sight. Turned out the hours weren’t as flexible as she thought they would be, but the excitement of meeting new people and the always-changing nature of the business was irresistible.

Joy joined our Home with Sherry Team in 2010. She and her husband Paul make their home in Alpharetta. And, while her passion for real estate remains strong, Joy looks forward to someday retiring to the beach.

Lead Listing Agent
Stephanie is a rarity, a true Georgia native. While originally from Macon, she and her family have called Johns Creek home since 2000. Spend a few minutes with her and you’ll realize she has never met a stranger. In any room, it isn’t long before you hear her say “Oh, you’re from . . . ? Do you know so-and-so?”. This ability to connect with people personally endears her not only to her clients, but other agents. That coupled with her no-nonsense advice and sharp negotiating skills has proven to be a winning combination over her 15-year career. She may start out as your agent, but it won’t be long before she’s offering to make you shrimp and grits.

While attending Mount de Sales High, Stephanie developed a knack for interior design working at her parents’ furniture store. Then, after graduating from Georgia College and State University, she settled in Atlanta and started a decorating service. She specialized in redecorating rooms with an emphasis on incorporating items the homeowner already owned. In fact, she was once featured on 11Alive News in story challenging her to redecorate a room using only what was already there. Her business grew to include staging homes in preparation for sale. Getting her real estate license was a logical progression. To this day, her sellers reap the benefits of her designer eye when getting ready to list.

Stephanie joined our Home with Sherry Team in 2013. She and her husband Scott have adult children - twins! - who live and work in the metro area.

There are three things you’ll find out about Amy within a few minutes of meeting her. One, she’s an avid Atlanta sports fan. We mean A-V-I-D. Two, she can tell you where to go to get the best oysters. Three, she’s an agent who knows the pros and cons of home builders in North Atlanta. Buyers trust her to assess the value and quality of both new construction and resale homes. Sellers rely on her for advice about projects and repairs that will help net them the best return on their investment. Both know that Amy will give them frank feedback and advocate tirelessly on their behalf.

Amy may not be a Georgia native, but she’s the next best thing. She moved to Peachtree Corners from New York when she was 9 years old. She graduated from Norcross High, then attended both UGA and Georgia State. After college she embarked on a 13-year career in commercial and residential real estate marketing. During the housing market decline in 2008, she scratched an entrepreneurial itch by opening an embroidery franchise. But, the siren song of real estate eventually lured her back. This time, with her license in hand, she’s focusing on helping people make their dreams of homeownership come true.

Amy joined our Home with Sherry Team in 2016. She, her husband Dirk, and two children live in Sugar Hill.
